Peri Turns

Peri’s paintings began rooted in the natural world, coastlines, open landscapes pulledfrom places she traveled and loved. Over time, the mood became more importantthan realism.  Movement mattered more than precision. Blending abstraction with figurative elements, her workcaptures the emotional residue of a place rather than its exact form. After stepping away from the art world for nearly a decade, Peri returned with aradically different approach, one shaped by constant movement and life on theroad. Now based somewhere between highways, she draws inspiration from theshifting American landscape: coastal haze, mountain shadows, roadside relics, and fleeting human connection.

The paintings are restless because the life behind them is restless. They speak toreinvention, movement, and the refusal to stay comfortable long enough to stopevolving.
