What We Look For

We seek professional artists whose work is technically accomplished, thoughtfully composed, and emotionally uplifting. We value skill, consistency, and professionalism in both artwork and business practices.

Our ideal artist:

• Has experience exhibiting and selling artwork in other galleries or venues.

• Maintains an up-to-date website and Instagram account.

• Presents a cohesive body of work with consistent style, quality, and technical excellence.

• Has an established following or a growing base of collectors.

• Is comfortable using online submission tools and communicates promptly and professionally.

Our focus is on artwork that evokes peace, happiness, and beauty. We do not accept photography, digital artwork, or work with dark, moody, or political themes.

Submission Guidelines

Please complete the submission form below with the requested information and examples of your work.

• Submit a cohesive selection that reflects your current style and quality.

• Include artwork completed within the last three years. Sold pieces may be included as examples for review.

• Provide clear, artwork-only images without frames, watermarks, or studio backgrounds.

• Include accurate titles, dimensions, mediums, and prices for the work submitted.

• Provide links to your website and Instagram account.

Artwork accepted for exhibition must be professionally framed, ready to hang, and in pristine condition—free of chips, dents, debris, or fingerprints. Unframed canvases are not accepted.

Selections are based on quality, compatibility with the gallery’s aesthetic, and available space. Submitting work does not guarantee acceptance.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR ARTISTS

Successful gallery relationships depend on collaboration, reliability, and shared enthusiasm.

Artists exhibiting with Square Pear are expected to:

• Promote their exhibitions through their social-media channels before and during the show, tagging the gallery. We will tag participating artists in our posts as well.

• Submit artwork images and complete, accurate details by the stated deadlines.

• Deliver and collect artwork on the scheduled dates.

• Provide replacement work following sales when requested and space permits.

• Respond promptly to gallery communications.

Commission and representation terms are outlined in our artist agreement.
